Opportunity for Specialist Pharmacist to join the Inflammatory Bowel Disease  team at the University Hospital for Llandough to cover maternity leave (12 months)

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced clinical pharmacist to join the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Team at Llandough Hospital. 

The post holder will have the opportunity to provide clinical pharmacy services and medicines management to patients of the highly specialised Inflammatory Bowel Disease service.

The post holder will be supported in developing their advanced practice by our experienced team of pharmacists and the excellent team of professionals working in both multidisciplinary teams.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic pharmacist, with excellent communication skills who will work well within the multi-disciplinary team. Previous experience in the speciality is desirable but not essential.

Your professionalism, excellent inter-personal skills & enthusiasm will equip you to be a valued contributor to our service & a key member of our clinical pharmacy team.

The role will have responsibility for managing and prescribing medication, for patients as well as leading on the development and maintenance of medicines management policies and procedures for this patient cohort.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
