Job overview
To provide secretarial support to the Senior Management Team within Therapy services, enabling the provision of an efficient and effective service within the framework of clinical governance.
To assist the Senior Managers within Physiotherapy and Professions Leads with the organisation and completion of routine and complex administrative managerial tasks and duties and to ensure that these are completed within a specified time frame
To provide minutes of meetings and to collate, format clinical and managerial reports and presentations
Main duties of the job
To liaise with other departments and external agencies where necessary, including patients and service users.
Communicate effectively and courteously with a range of internal/external stakeholders, which may include clinical management teams, corporate , finance teams and business Intelligence Unit.

Essential criteria
- Good general education to GCSE level including English and Maths
- Knowledge of a range of secretarial procedures and software programmes acquired through NVQ III or equivalent
Knowledge

- Sound knowledge of the work and scope of the service in order to act as point of information for the public and other professionals.
- To be able to work well under pressure, prioritise and effectively manage daily workloads.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Secretarial and administrative experience
- Extensive use of Office and Outlook, including word, excel and PowerPoint, e-mail and internet.
