Kernowflex (Bank) IT Customer Service Engineer

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder will assist UC team leader and other UC engineers in the support of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly NHS communities’ technical infrastructure. This will include configuring equipment under direction and installing wireless access points and other equipment around the Treliske campus.

The installation of wireless access points will involve the use of step ladders – for which appropriate training will be given.

Their responsibilities and duties will include working with and providing support to other engineers within the UC Team, but at times the post holder may have to work without supervision.

Frequent requirement to lift and move moderately heavy equipment, with or without the use of mechanical aids in accordance with basic manual handling procedures.
Have the dexterity to fit and or update the internal components of IT related hardware with the use of relevant fine precession tools
