The People Performance & Governance Team is looking for some project admin support to help deliver in some key workforce initiatives.
We are a very active and highly ambitious team with great ideas and aspirations for securing our future workforce and helping to take care of our existing teams and colleagues.
We have a reputation for delivering great results, but need some help with project support so that we can keep the momentum going.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administration and clerical support to the team.
The post holder will provide administrative cover for Risk, Performance, Governance, People Promise & Place. Ensuring that diaries, daily admin duties and system maintenance are dealt with in a quick and efficient manner.
The post holder will carry out their work in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the team’s work.
The post holder may be expected to travel cross bay as and when the service deems this necessary, but can work from home and/or from a main base close to home.

We operate from three main hospitals - Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.
WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
Our community services for adults are provided in people’s homes, community centres, clinics, GP Practices, community hospitals and our main hospitals. Our aim is to work with people to help them remain independent, improve their health and manage their conditions through high quality care, advice and support.

Education, Skills & Experience
Meini prawf hanfodol
- Basic numeracy and literacy eg GCSE level at grade C and above
- Experience of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel including good keyboard skills
- Experience of data inputting and working with spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently to organise and complete / delegate admin tasks
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel as required and ability to travel between sites and to community locations
- Understanding of professional conduct and maintain patient confidentiality

- Computer qualification e.g. EDCL
- Previous work experience in clerical and admin duties within health / social care settings
- Experience of creating promotional material
