Patient Services provides an assessment, diagnostic and treatment service at Shelley Road, Boscombe.
The administration team is currently looking to recruit an administrator to work 37.5 hours per week. The role includes dealing with a range of telephone queries, arranging appointments, managing patient correspondence, data inputting and problem solving. In addition to dealing with patients a key part of this role is to provide administrative support to the clinical team to enable them to run their clinics effectively.
You will need to be highly organized with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering a customer focused service. This is a very busy department and you will be required to effectively manage multiple and diverse work streams.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
