Job overview
The Wellbeing in Mind Team provides support to schools and colleges across Harrogate, Hambleton, Richmondshire, Scarborough, Ryedale, York and Selby.
We are looking to recruit a band 3 Team Secretary to join the Centralised Business Support Team who work together closely to ensure the service runs smoothly. .
We are a team of 4 who work half a week at home and half a week in an office.
Main duties of the job
This is a varied role and no two days are the same. Day to day you will be involved in: Adding referrals to the Trust's system, typing letters, collating feedback from workshops and training, arranging meetings with schools and colleges, formatting reports and presentations, taking minutes, ordering resources for the team, and much more, please see the attached job description for more details.

Person specification

Essential criteria
- Diploma/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
- Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O Level / GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above
- ITQ Level 2 or equivalent or willingness to work towards
Experience
Essential criteria
- Working in an administrative environment
- Customer service experience
- Experience of organising completing demands and workloads
- Experience of setting up and maintenance of administrative systems and processes
Desirable criteria
- Handling money / expereince of working with petty cash
Skills/Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Understanding of confidentiality and the associated legal and policy requirements.
- Maintain concentration and attention to detail whilst also dealing effectively with interruptions.
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrate accurate keyboard skills

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
