Trosolwg o'r swydd

The post holder will provide a high quality and customer focused support service to a range of internal and external customers, to enable the trust to provide excellent educational services. This will include the delivery of a high standard of administrative support, to colleagues, both within the immediate Training & Development team and wider Integrated Education Team.

The post holder will also support the development of the Apprentices within the team, acting as a role model for staff and will uphold an excellent professional attitude, in line with the values and behaviours of our organisation.

 

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

  • Answer training and development enquiries, both in person, on the phone and via email
  • Administering the Training & Development generic in-boxes. Ensuring all emails are responded to within the SLAs.
  • Supporting the delivery of face to face Induction and STAM training (setting up rooms, welcoming and registering delegates, answering face to face enquiries).
  • Administering and providing support to the Training and Development team and those within with wider Integrated Education Team, e.g. raising purchase orders, updating the Intranet, organising meetings.
  • Support and coach other members within the team, such as Training & Development Apprentice

Swydd ddisgrifiad a phrif gyfrifoldebau manwl

  • Answer learning and development enquiries, both in person, on the phone and via email, from staff who may have varying levels of ability to understand, whose first language is not English, or who may not be IT literate.
  • Provide and receive routine information, and give explanations and instructions clearly and concisely.
  • Communicate effectively using a range of problems solving skills to ensure the most appropriate course of action is taken and the outcome is communicated to all relevant parties.
  • Respond compassionately to staff who may be distressed.
  • Administering the Training & Development generic in-boxes. Ensuring all emails are responded to within the SLAs.
  • Supporting the delivery of face to face Induction and STAM training (setting up rooms, welcoming and registering delegates, answering face to face enquiries).
  • Make judgements and resolve enquiries, that involve facts, data or situations and therefore require analysis; such as resolving more complex queries and those that require further analysis or discussion prior to being resolved.
  • Follow departmental policies and processes and contribute to procedural and process changes which improve departmental effectiveness.
  • Administering and providing support to the Training and Development team and those within with wider Integrated Education Team, e.g. raising purchase orders, updating the Intranet, organising meetings.
  • Participating pro-actively in team meetings and contribute and implement ideas for improvement within the service.
  • Support and coach other members within the team, such as Training & Development Apprentice.
  • Provide advice and guidance to new or less experienced Training & Development administrators
