The postholder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to the team of Health Care Professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team on the unit and within the Intermediate Care Team. The postholder will also be responsible for providing information to Access To records in relation to Incidents of a serious Nature and Business Support Services in relation to Family & Friends.

The role will involve coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skill and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems. They will be responsible for prioritising their own workload and working calmly and accurately under pressure to meet the demands of the Team.

The postholder consults with both internal and external health providers, receiving and communicating information. This will involve using external patient record systems to retrieve information necessary to process referrals and respond to Advice & Guidance generated by the Medical Team.

  • Word processing to OCR 2 standard/International Computer Driving License (ICDL) or able to demonstrate appropriate level of skill
