Trosolwg o'r swydd
The radiology management team are seeking to appoint a Clinical Manager to provide positive and credible leadership for the radiographic service at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Radiology department and act as the line manager for all radiographers and practitioners (below superintendent level), assistants and non–clerical staff.
The exact responsibilities are currently being reviewed due to the employment of more senior managers.

- Professional Radiographic Lead for the department.
- Responsible for monthly returns to payroll for all Radiographers, APs and Rad Assistants.
- Responsible for annual leave allocation and record keeping of leave.
- Take responsibility for a high standard of service delivery within the Radiology Department, reporting any issues back to the Radiology Managers.
- Deputise for the Radiology Operational Manager in their absence.
- Hold regular communication and development meetings with radiographic staff in conjunction with the Superintendent Radiographer colleagues.
- Appraise Radiographic staff and encourage their personal development in close liaison with the senior staff.
- Provide a Radiographic Service at all sites by matching staff resources to the imaging needs with close liaison with the senior staff.
- Act as Radiation Protection Supervisor for the PAH department and appoint appropriate RPSs for all other departments within the Trust.
