The Acute Adult Care Division is one of four Clinical Divisions in the Trust that includes Emergency Care, Complex Care and Specialist Medicine. It provides a range of specialist out-patient and community services and is committed to providing excellent clinical performance and patient care.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Practitioner with an interest in Emergency medicine to work within our Emergency Department Urgent Treatment Centre. We have an excellent team of health care professionals in this already established area. The Urgent Treatment Centre sits within our Emergency department.
As an Advanced Practitioner you would be welcomed as part of the team to provide highly skilled clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting in the Urgent Treatment centre. The successful candidate will be supported with continuing professional development and opportunity to work within the four pillars of advanced practice. This role requires Non-medical Prescribing qualification.

Main duties of the job
To work clinically as an Advanced clinical practitioner in the urgent treatment centre which sits within the emergency department.
To see a wide range of adults and children who present in the UTC
history taking, clinical examination skills
the ability to make a differential diagnosis based on presenting complaint, the ability to request and interpret diagnostics
prescribe within Trust guidelines
manage , admit and discharge patients within agreed Trust policy
