Clinical and Care Professional Leads support south east London-wide and borough programmes of work, therefore, there is an expectation that you currently work within south east London, and for borough based roles, within that borough.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of, and lead, the One Bromley Clinical and Care Professional Leadership team. Bromley is a diverse borough, proud of its cultural and ethnic diversity, and seeks to engage with all sections of the local population. Part of the ambition of health and care services is to reduce variation in levels of health and access to services. This role is to provide the most senior clinical leadership for the One Bromley Local Care Partnership including, with the Leader of Bromley Local Authority, jointly chairing the One Bromley Board. The post holder will have a number of specific duties and strategic responsibilities but is expected to oversee the overall One Bromley clinical leadership function including the development of the primary/secondary interface
Main duties of the job
1. Jointly chair the One Bromley Local Care Partnership, which will include liaising with senior staff, local politicians and lay/non executive members in partner organisations
2. Oversight of the Clinical Leadership functions for Bromley and direct management of some clinical leads.
3. Attendance at various governance meetings within the Local Care Partnership, and within Bromley Council.
4. Leadership for the main strategic priorities within Bromley, such as development of neighbourhoods
5. Oversight of the improvements within the primary/secondary interface
6. Clinical leadership of the primary care function, including quality in primary care
7. Clinical oversight of the medicines optimisation
8. Specific clinical pathway work and support, this may vary according to the interests of the postholder and the needs of various ICB workstreams
9. Lead representation of Bromley CCPLs at SEL level

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Qualified care and/or clinical professional i.e. NMC, HCPC, social work register, GMC etc. Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
Desirable criteria
- Certificate / qualification in programme management, service improvement or transformation
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of transformational/innovative service delivery, productivity and/or transformation policy implementation.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of being part of peer networks and collaborative working
- Cross organisational and/or professional boundary collaboration experience
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- An in-depth understanding of health and care provision and awareness of current ICS/system policies and priorities
- Champions the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion both within and outside of the organisation. Provide effective, inclusive and compassionate leadership ensuring all voices are heard and creating and nurturing a culture where staff feel safe to speak up.
Desirable criteria
- Good knowledge or cross professional transformation, digital solutions and innovative redesign.
