Healthcare Assistant Band 2, Inpatient Local Services
West London Mental Health Trust provides a full range of local mental health services to the London Boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow as well as specialist and forensic mental health services, including high secure services to a much wider catchment area. We have strong links with other key services including the Recovery Teams, Assessment Team, Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Duty Team and the Crisis Assessment and Treatment Teams (CATT) .
We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic band 2 Healthcare Assistants who are looking for a new challenge to work within Lakeside Mental Health Unit. Your role within the team would be to help support and implement treatment plans for service users under the care of the ward. Candidates will need to demonstrate some understanding of the needs of services users who are experiencing a mental health crisis. You also have to be motivated and have the experience of working with acutely unwell service users.
In return, we are able to offer you an excellent and rewarding experience. You will be provided regular supervision, development programme and training opportunities, both in-house and external. You will receive an extensive induction prior to starting work. This includes training in the Prevention and management of violence and aggression.
• All staff are required to work a shift pattern and will receive enhanced pay for unsociable hours.
