Are you an experienced and talented ICT Professional looking to further your career working across regional and national NHS networks to implement ICT solutions that improve patient care and clinician experience? Are you also looking to work in an innovative and rapidly expanding area of care? If so, then this is the position for you.

Genomics is a rapidly expanding and innovative area of medicine, underpinning new treatments, technologies and approaches to managing patients with a wide variety including cancer, rare diseases and common conditions such as hypercholesterolaemia. Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

This is an exciting time for both the North Thames GLH and GMSA as we are participating in several high-profile national projects and have the opportunity to participate in more in coming months under the leadership of the Informatics Director. For this reason, the successful applicant should therefore have proven experience in ICT project and programme management plus knowledge of information governance to deliver these solutions, systems and projects. You will have a strong ability to think strategically about the short, medium- and long-term needs of the GLH. You will possess the ability to understand and translate how technology will enable the unique needs of the GLH to deliver genomics across our population and beyond for the benefit of patients and clinicians. You will be able to communicate and engage with internal and external stakeholders, driving efficiencies, exploiting technological developments and getting best value. An ability to work across organisations is essential as you will need to work with the 7 organisations delivering genomic testing in the NT GLH, and other organisations across the geography to implement and embed IT systems and solutions that improve patient care and clinician experience.
