CAMHS Team Secretary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Central Manchester Core CAMHS as a Team Secretary.
You will work alongside other administration staff under the supervision of the Office Manager, offering administration support to the clinical team. The clinical team consists of a range of professionals including Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Mental Health Practitioners.

Update and input patient records using PARIS Electronic Records System, including registering new patients, and discharging where appropriate.
Provide a secretarial service, including arranging appointments, typing correspondence and reports, including digital dictation using the G2 application.
Respond to and send emails.
Maintain diaries and waiting lists as appropriate to the speciality, cancelling and rebooking appointments as necessary.
Prioritise own workload.
Telephone management of sensitive and confidential nature.
Assist in the complaints resolution procedure as appropriate.
Attend meetings, preparing appropriate paperwork and take minutes.
Liaise with medico legal department preparing notes if required.
Work as part of a team.
Where appropriate, contribute to the provision of a reception service, answering telephone calls, greeting patients, staff and visitors and ensuring their needs are met.
Contribute to the maintenance of appropriate stock and non stock items.
Contribute to best practice and assist in developing working practices in the team to deliver an efficient and effective administration service, ensuring Trust priorities including 18 week pathway.
May have some responsibility for supervision of staff on lower grades.
