Job overview
We are looking for an experienced and pro-active Resourcing Support Officer to manage the day-to-day administration of the Resourcing team and provide assistance to the Head of Resourcing, ensuring that all administrative work is completed as required with accuracy and within set timeframes.
Suitable candidates will have experience of working in an HR department and have wider understanding of the HR and Resourcing functions.
The Resourcing Support Officer will provide a comprehensive administrative function involving: the co-ordination of meeting requests and diary management, preparation of agendas and minutes as appropriate and any necessary follow up actions. In addition, there will be a requirement to record team leave and arrange mandatory training for the Resourcing team.
The successful candidate will be expected to use their initiative and be able to work unsupervised, undertaking projects as and when necessary.
Suitable candidates will be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of management and staff, displaying a high level of tact and diplomacy at all times and processing sensitive information confidentially.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to NVQ level 4/GCSC/A- Level or equivalent or significant direct experience in similar senior administrative/project support role leading to sound knowledge of administrative procedures.
- OCR level 2, diploma in secretarial skills or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent or significant direct experience supporting at director level.
Skills & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Experience of Working in Recruitment or HR Department and wider understanding of the HR functions.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Outlook.
- Full administration experience including minute taking and diary management.
- Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with staff and managers at all levels in the organisations and with managers from the wider NHS and external organisations.
- Ability to work independently and to use own initiative when appropriate and when responding to critical and complex emails on behalf of the Deputy Director Workforce.
- Able to use own initiative.
