The operational Divisions and service Directorates are supported by a range of corporate services. Main duties of the job

Facilities Services is part of the Estates and Facilities Directorate, delivering in-house soft FM services within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, across Nottinghamshire.

We are looking to recruit a Facilities Assistant who will provide a clean, safe environment Highbury Hospital and Highbury Community . The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a high-quality service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The hours will be 25.67 hours per week working  on 7 days rota including  weekends and bank holidays , working on Highbury Orion unit and Highbury Community units, food service will also be involved. The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.

We have in-house training to help your personal development plans and will support you with all of your training.

Essential criteria
  • An understanding of cleanliness and good hygiene practices

  • Recognised, support services qualification

Training

Essential criteria
  • Ability to undertake all mandatory training as required by the individual site
  • Ability to undertake any necessary skills and competency training required by the post

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Able to carry out instructions as detailed in the job description

  • Experience or working within a catering, portering or cleaning environment
  • Experience of working within healthcare environment
  • Experience of working within a food safety management system
