Sexual Health Receptionist

Job overview

We are looking for a receptionist who is flexible, motivated, appropriately trained and enthusiastic, who possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability work with a diverse range of clients to provide high quality care. Candidates will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team across all areas of the Sexual Health services, in an innovative sexual health and HIV setting.

The post involves providing and maintaining high quality service user focused access to the Integrated Sexual Health Service via customer service and support, across all service clinical venues in a confidential and non-judgemental way.

Main duties of the job

Provide an excellent customer service over the phone and face to face for patients who attend the Integrated Sexual Health Service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

- Providing a full range of customer service duties, including, meeting and greeting users, booking appointments via telephone and recording messages to be passed along.

- Maintaining patient/client records in accordance with Information Management policies, updating and amending details on the Inform system where necessary.

- Supporting the closure of clinical venues (with nursing staff), if working at a clinic location as necessary.

- Assisting the ISH Clinical Team to prepare patients prior to clinical procedures and chaperoning them.

- To provide general administrative support to the ISH Service as directed by the SPA Co-Ordinator
