Permanent post, 30 hours per week
We are looking for enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated individuals to join our team based at Brooklands Hospital.
The posts provide the catering and cleaning service to our secure services users, either using the Cook Freeze system and / or in some units, traditional cooking. Applicants will have the Level 2 Food hygiene qualification or willing to obtain and previous catering / cleaning experience.

Fri - 10.00-18.00
Sat - 10.00-18.00
Sun - 10.00-18.00
Mon – 10.00-18.00

Essential criteria
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- GCSE level numeracy/literary or can demonstrate same
- Basic Skills IT qualification or can demonstrate same
Experience

- Some experience of working within a healthcare service
Knowledge and skills

- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of equal opportunities
- Previous knowledge of use of cleaning/catering equipment
- Ability to maintain accurate written records
- Must be able to demonstrate use of a computer, I phone or equivalent to access Trust systems or APP.
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
