here are a number of exciting opportunities at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust for Trust Grade Doctors at FY2 level 

The jobs consist of 4-month training rotations.   

The rotations include a variety of Oncology, Geriatric, Surgical and Medical placements. 

For FY2 doctors, these rotations will ensure you have fully accredited United Kingdom training to proceed to speciality applications. There are the following opportunities and support measures available: 

  • Educational and clinical supervisor support  

  • Access to Horus e-portfolio for completion of foundation training 

  • Simulation sessions 

  • Educational study budget to attend course related to career intentions 

  • Study leave (12 days in total) to attend courses or have tasters in different specialities 

  • SPA time (1 day a month) to support audit and career development 

  • Weekly curriculum linked foundation teaching including careers workshops and interview skills  

  • Junior doctor leadership programme  

  • Health and well-being lead to support junior doctors in training.  

 The Royal Surrey Hospital has an excellent reputation for supporting all junior doctors throughout their training and is a truly welcoming environment.
