This is a role within a psychologically led service with a national and international profile and impact. This rapidly developing and innovative clinical area operates across the northwest. The postholder will be based at one of the clinics in the northwest, which are Manchester, Preston, and Liverpool i.e. the one most convenient for them. Expectation of some travel across the sites is required, as well as working from home. The service employs a psychological model and is largely made up of a psychological workforce. There is a great opportunity, working alongside the Consultant Psychologist and Clinical Lead (a national expert in gambling addiction), to develop and contribute to the clinical delivery of the service within regional integrated care models. The postholder will contribute to clinical supervision, stakeholder engagement across the region, teaching, presentations, and research in a developing field. The service contributes to policy and regulation at a national level.

We are committed to robust professional leadership, equality, diversity and inclusion and supporting staff wellbeing and CPD. Our Psychological Professions Strategy  outlines our vision.
We are proud that 100% of LYPFT psychological professionals recently surveyed reported they felt supported by colleagues.
