We can offer opportunities to develop within a supportive environment and the team are committed to facilitating your learning and career progression. All applicants must have extensive and recent acute care experience either in a Surgical or Critical Care role.

You will be required to support the wider Surgical ACP team which may include working within other surgical specialities such as acute surgery. We currently work 1 in 4-6 weekends and cover occasional late, twilight and night shifts.

UHS employees can access a range of NHS discounts, are entitled to a minimum of 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), and we offer a generous pension scheme.

Southampton is an attractive place to live and work situated on the south coast, with an international airport and direct trains to London.
