Are you a motivated and forward-thinking registered Pharmacy Technician seeking a unique opportunity? Join the dynamic Pharmacy team at Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) in the role of Pharmacy Stores Manager. In this position, you will manage the Pharmacy stores at Queens Hospital and distribution related services cross site at Queens and King George Hospitals. They will ensure the cost-effective receipt, storage, and supply of Pharmaceuticals to wards, departments, and dispensaries throughout the Trust

The post holder will manage the Pharmacy stores at Queens Hospital and distribution related services cross site at Queens and King George Hospitals. They will ensure the cost-effective receipt, storage, and supply of Pharmaceuticals to wards, departments, and dispensaries throughout the Trust. They will be responsible for standards within the stores area and processes related to the distribution of medicines across the Trust, promoting good practice and training and development of staff. They shall also liaise with the procurement manager, stores supervisors, purchasing staff and the senior pharmacy management team.

Patients across north east London are benefitting from two new state of the art theatres at KGH and our Community Diagnostic Centres at Barking Community Hospital and St George’s Health and Wellbeing Hub will significantly increase the number of scans that can be carried out.

We’re looking forward to introducing an electronic patient record next year. This will mean the records of any patient visiting one of the seven hospitals run by BHRUT and Barts Health will be accessible to the clinical teams. It’ll make things easier for staff and will be better for patients.

  • Experience of using a prescription tracking system.
