Main duties of the job
There is an exciting opportunity to join the EPR Operations team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS). The successful candidate will join an expanding team supporting a range of clinical systems across the Trust. You will respond to issues and questions from service users across the Trust and our external partners and resolve issues via the ticketing system, emails, phone, or face-to-face.
You will also supervise junior members of the team, and work with the team leads to guide process changes for the team.

Degree or equivalent experience in application support
Ability to explain IT issues to non-IT staff and extract relevant information from them to help diagnose IT problems
Relevant experience in database master table administration/maintenance and ability to use SQL

- Previous experience of working on a large project
- Evidence of supporting users through change
- Relevant experience of database master table administration/maintenance
- Proven system testing experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of Data Protection issues.
- Writing IT technical knowledge in simple plain English
Desirable criteria
- Previous or relevant experience of working within a Healthcare environment
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Application Testing
- Basic knowledge of HTML or web-based design programs
- Evidence of technical/problem solving
