Job overview

Are you looking to join a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 nurse at The Sainsbury Wing; a dedicated private facility within Hammersmith Hospital.

The Sainsbury wing is a 26 bedded mixed speciality area which includes haematology, hepatobiliary, gynaecology, cardiology, cardiothoracic and upper GI, with an ambulatory care unit and an outpatient department. We care for patients undergoing complex surgeries, out-patient chemotherapy and we manage patients’ symptoms caused by their treatment or cancer.

About you:

•Proactive with a desire to continuously improve patient experience and deliver high quality, patient centred care.
•Enthusiastic and highly-motivated.
•Excellent communications skills and the ability to demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner with patients.
•Ability to maintain accurate electronic records.

This post is a permanent full time position working with a mixed roster of long days and night shifts.
