Specific to this role is the suitability for agile working which is a mixture of on-site and remote working. In addition, we are open to discussing flexibility in the hours that you work. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what’s possible for the role and service. Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Working closely with your colleagues you will lead a team of Patient Pathway Co-ordinators and Administrators working across a range of clinical areas.

You will work within a dedicated speciality clinical area to provide advice and guidance to co-ordinate the admin team processes for the patient’s pathway.  You will be responsible for the smooth running of the patient’s journey by ensuring that streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.  You will be involved in service delivery for the Speciality Admin Team including implementing new processes.

You will provide cross-cover for other Team Leaders within the Division to ensure a consistent and effective administration service is always maintained.

This is a busy role, and we are therefore looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and a desire to provide a first-class service for patients and clinical teams.  You should be able to work with minimum supervision and have a tactful, sensitive approach to dealing with occasional difficult situations.

In return, this post offers excellent development opportunities.
