Job overview
Applications are invited for an Administrator to provide a comprehensive service to the NHS Talking Therapy teams at various locations across Lancashire. The post holder will coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
The post holder will work at Cameron House, White Cross Business Park, South Road, Lancaster, LA1 4XF with the potential to have to travel to other NHS Talking Therapy bases and required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the networks administrative service, providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by their Administration Line Manager to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
Main duties of the job
Evidence of relevant previous experience, a good general education and excellent communication and organisation skills are essential. Knowledge of working within the NHS will be an advantage and computer skills will be essential.
The successful applicant will require a flexible approach and the ability to work within a busy team. They will also be expected to use their own initiative and work unsupervised to ensure the effective coordination of duties.
