As an integrated mental health, learning disability and community Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:
• Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.
• Specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
• Community physical health and well-being services for children and adults.

As our Team Coordinator, you'll be the vital link ensuring the smooth running of our service. You'll be the first point of contact for the team supporting families, providing a welcoming and reassuring presence to the team as they navigate challenging times. Your work will directly contribute to helping children access the mental health support they need to thrive. You will be supported by a dedicated Service Manager, along with a dedicated Head of Clinical Service.

You'll be responsible for:
Managing referrals and coordinating appointments, ensuring timely access to care.
Providing exceptional leadership, clinically and managerially leading the team along with administrative support to our clinical team.
Being a friendly and efficient point of contact for families, schools, GPs and other agencies across our communities.
Maintaining accurate and confidential records.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We're looking for someone who:
Is highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office.
Thrives in a busy environment and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Is compassionate, empathetic, and understands the importance of confidentiality.
Ideally: Has experience in a healthcare setting and/or knowledge of CAMHS (but don't worry if not, full training is provided!).

The post holder will form part of the locality management team and will play a fundamental role in driving forward the Fylde and Wyre Locality vision for ongoing service improvement.

- Educated to Masters Level in relevant profession.
- Registered Mental Nurse or aligned profession eg OT/Social Worker
- Professional Registration SWE; HCPC; NMC

- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of contemporary practice within CYPMH services.
- Demonstrates knowledge of NHS change agendas and strategic service planning by the Department of Health.
- Previous experience of managing within mental health services.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Empathic with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact at all levels of the organisation.
