The ACP’s are pivotal in the triage, assessment, ordering and interpretation of appropriate tests and investigations, and development of treatment plans, including non medical prescribing, of acutely unwell Respiratory patients. The Respiratory ACP is a key leadership role within the Respiratory medicine team, working alongside both medical and ward based teams in a busy and dynamic environment. The role is exciting and varied including working as a part of the respiratory medicine team assessing and treating patients on the wards, in pleural clinics and outpatient clinics with a view to reducing length of stay, admission avoidance and promoting safe discharge through ACP led clinics. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse or Allied Health Professional with a passion for Respiratory Medicine. Experience of independent clinical assessment, practice and decision making is advantageous.
