Essential criteria

Effective communication and relationship skills
Specialist knowledge of vehicle electrical systems gained through post qualifications, experience and training
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Knowledge of protection and understanding of confidentiality requirements
Specialist knowledge of vehicle electronically systems
Working knowledge of vehicle mechanically components
PC literate, knowledge of software systems related to diagnostic tools and equipment
Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision

Qualifications

Essential criteria

City and Guilds Electrical certificate in motor vehicle technology or NVQ level 3 or equivalent documented experience
Good standard of education. Minimum 3 GCSE or equivalent
Driving licence with C1 Entitlement
Evidence of Continued Professional Development
Experience in the use of Fleet database operating systems and associated windowed based software applications

Experience

Must have knowledge and competency to effect repairs to electrical systems and all vehicles within NWAS Fleet
