Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the  living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until  the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed

 

Job overview

To provide a comprehensive high level, efficient, accurate and prompt administrative service to all stakeholders by assisting in the smooth running of the service.

As a member of the Administration Team, a flexible approach to the post is essential to enable prioritising the different workloads and duties. 

 

Main duties of the job

Working within the different administration areas in Ophthalmology this role offers a variety of different administration work from preparation of patients files, inputting data into WPAS, printing off documentation for clinics,  inputting data onto Excel spreadsheets, opening and sorting mail and supporting team members when necessary.  This role requires the applicant to be very flexible in their work approach. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
