Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is the local health board of NHS Wales with responsible for the delivery of health care services to more than 700,000 people across six counties (Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham).
BCUHB have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced, self-motivated and enthusiastic Cyber Security professional to join our growing Cyber Security and Compliance Team as Cyber Security Compliance Specialist.
Main duties of the job
The outstanding candidates will have extensive experience of working at a senior technical level within ICT and will play a vital role in protecting the complex and critical ICT infrastructure which underpins patient care and treatment, as well as ensuring ongoing compliance with the Network and Information Systems Regulations 2018 (NIS-R).
The post holder will use high level communication skills, written and verbal and have an ability to engage with partnership colleagues across the health sector, 3rd party suppliers & senior managers.

Due to the seniority of the role, interviews will be held in person only at Ysbyty Abergele Hospital.
Upon appointment the successful candidates will be allocated to Ysbyty Maelor Wrexham Hospital, Ysbyty Abergele Hospital or Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital Bangor as their main base, depending on their home address. There is an expectation that the successful candidates will have the ability to travel across the North Wales region as required by the needs of the organisation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
