Job overview

The Cancer Services team in Ysbyty Gwynedd is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team of cancer multi-disciplinary team co-ordinators. We are looking for someone who can work closely with a dedicated team of clinicians to fast track patients through the cancer pathway, provide administrative support to the weekly clinical team meeting, where all new patients are discussed and optimum treatment plans agreed, and collate clinical data on the dedicated national cancer database.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for:  All administration functions related to the organisation and delivery of   Cancer MDT working.    The provision of an organisational and statistical service to the Cancer Site Specific Multidisciplinary Teams.     The collation, recording and submission of cancer information on a national level.   Prospective tracking of all suspected and confirmed cancer patients through the care pathway.
