Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 1,2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the  living wage of £12 per hour - £23,465 per annum. This temporary top up will be in place until  the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed

 

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit Band 5 nurses for the Critical Care Unit in Ysbyty Gwynedd, North Wales. Betsi Cadwalder University Health Board operates three Hospital sites with a total of 33 Critical Care beds, delivering care for all unscheduled care and a broad range of surgical specialties.

 

Main duties of the job

We are seeking nurses who ideally have experience in an acute area. Candidates must be enthusiastic, committed and willing to develop in this very rewarding nursing specialty. We offer a supernumery training period and a detailed preceptorship program alongside the National Competency Framework for Adult Critical Care Nurses.

The Critical Care Unit aims to deliver safe, high quality care and ensures a positive patient experience. As part of our team, you will represent the Trust in delivering nursing care in line with the Trust Values and treat all staff/colleagues, patients, families, and visitors with respect and dignity. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
