Job overview
Ffrancon Ward is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Registered Nurse to join their team. You must have an interest in working within Women's health as this ward is a busy, acute ward caring for patients with Gynaecology elective and emergency care and we care for women whom are experiencing complications in early pregnancy. You will be part of a team of hard working and dedicated nursing, medical and administration staff, and on a daily basis you will be required to work in liaison with the team to ensure the delivery of safe, well organised and effective care ensuring a positive experience for patients and families who access our service.
We actively encourage staff development through education programmes and in-house training. We care passionately about providing high quality patient centred care and welcome applicants from candidates who possess the same drive and enthusiasm.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all care is delivered according to BCU policies and procedures maintaining associated records.
Be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of holistic programmes of care for patients reporting to the shift leader and medical staff significant changes in condition.
