Job overview

This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months to cover a secondment.

This exciting opportunity will be of interest to a Registered Nurse who has a passion to deliver excellence in care delivery to patients admitted to the Oncology, Haematology, and Palliative care within Alaw Ward. It is desired that the post holder will have experience of working within the Oncology , Haematology and palliative care field but this is not essential. The post holder will gain in depth knowledge of the management of patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment as well as skills to promote effective nursing care at the highest of standards.

This post will mainly be ward based. 

Main duties of the job

Please note for Welsh students, you must apply via Streamlining where all available jobs can be located. 

The successful candidate will be expected to rotate within the unit covering the in-patient ward,  Systemic Anti Cancer treatment Unit and Alaw Assessment Unit to gain an in depth knowledge within all the areas, however this post will primarily be based on the alaw day unit. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
