Job overview

A  part time vacancy has become available for a Health Care Support Worker for the Transfer Lounge, Ysbyty Gwynedd.

To assist with patent transfers from the acute wards to facilitate flow.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

  • To work along side the registered nurse, to facilitate patient flow
  • Transfer patients from an acute ward or area to the the transfer lounge
  • Co-ordinate patient transport bookings
  • Complete daily checklists of standard operational procedures
  • Transfer of patients notes between area
