We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Ogwen Ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd. Ogwen Ward, is a 30 bedded ward, that specialises in Trauma Orthopaedic and we welcome candidates who are eager to contribute to our commitment to high-quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
As a Health Care Assistant, you will collaborate closely with nursing staff to support daily operations, contributing to the overall care and well-being of patients, visitors, and staff. Your role is vital in fostering a safe and nurturing environment for all.
The ideal candidate will be encouraged to collaborate effectively within a team to uphold high standards of care, while also demonstrating the capacity to work independently when needed.
The Enlli Ward comprises 15 dedicated beds and places a strong emphasis on infection prevention, recognising its importance for the well-being of our patients and staff.
Rota schedules are designed to cover a full 24-hour period and incorporate a balanced mix of both day and night shifts.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
