An exciting opportunity has arisen for two booking administrators to support the Teledermoscopy Service serving patients across North Wales. The posts will be based at Glan Clwyd Hospital, but travel to other sites may be required to meet the demands of the service.
The candidates will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The roles will be to provide a comprehensive range of administration and secretarial duties to the Clinical Photographers and associated teams.
Post 1: Monday- Wednesday 09:00-17:00 (22.5 hours)
Post 2: Wednesday-Friday 09:00-17:00 (22.5 hours)

Main duties of the job
This challenging position requires someone who is a team player, flexible, organised and is able to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will need to have experience within an administrative role and hold the following qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C and above or equivalent.
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience or willing to work towards.
- L2 RSA/OCR or equivalent experience.
This position also requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet the demands of working in a busy environment and is able to represent the department with due professionalism.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
- GCSE standard in English and Maths
- Evidence of continuous/ ongoing learning
- RSA III in typing or word processing or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Previous experience of WPAS
Desirable criteria
- ECDL qualified

- Previous experience in booking, secretarial and/or administration role
- Copy/ Audio typing
Skills and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Able to use Word/Excel/ Email/Outlook
- Able to manage paper/ electronic diaries effectively

Desirable criteria
- Excellent working knowledge of Patient Administration Systems
