We are excited to offer a unique opportunity within Central Integrated Health Community (IHC) for an experienced pharmacist to join our team on a 12-months fixed term/secondment basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across primary care, community hospitals and community resource teams, contributing your expertise to enhance pharmaceutical care delivery and patient outcomes.
Main duties of the job
The role provides an excellent opportunity to find out more about primary care and community, with the option of pursuing the GP Transition Programme.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
Essential criteria
- MPharm degree or equivalent
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Post Graduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience and/or qualifications
Desirable criteria
- Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society & registration with the Faculty
- Accredited or eligible to be accredited as a Higher Education Institute Clinical Pharmacy diploma/MSc tutor
- Training qualification Leadership and/or management qualification
- Non-medical prescribing qualification (or working towards)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Must be able to demonstrate suitable level of experience working in the managed sector and/or community pharmacy
Desirable criteria
- Experience in relevant clinical area
- Leadership and management experience
Aptitude and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to influence and negotiate within a multidisciplinary team setting
- Evidence of implementation of change
- Good communicator, motivated, able to lead and work as part of a team
- Ability to set and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritise and delegate
- Development of protocols and procedures
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of successful management of people

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
