Main duties of the job
You will be required to provide inspiring and innovative leadership that supports the implementation and development of high quality integrated person-centred care which respects and responds to the needs of service users and carers.
The role will require the post-holder to support the Locality Manager to provide overall strategic management, business planning and development of the Community Integrated Network Teams within your Locality, in conjunction with the Associate Locality Director.
The role will ensure the delivery of KPIs within the relevant service specifications for the BNSSG Adult Community Services contract.
Integral to the role is representing Sirona by working in partnership with other BNSSG providers. There is a requirement to attend a number of system wide meetings and the occasional requirement to deputise for the Locality Manager and the Associate Locality Director.

Essential criteria
- Professional qualification in health care and current registration.
Desirable criteria
- Recognised post graduate management / leadership qualification, working towards one or willingness to undertake.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous experience working in a health and social care community setting and/or other relevant multidisciplinary environment of a similar size and complexity
- Operational management experience including experience of managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams in a variety of locations.
- Evidence of ability to resolve complex issues within service, including with staff implications using sound logic and taking into consideration relevant business implications.
- Able to demonstrate leadership skills, credibility and integrity and ability to manage through change.
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of the transformation agenda and the legislative, regulatory and performance management framework for health and social care.
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures for both children and adults and experience of supporting front line staff in delivery.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of various health care fields and a variety of disciplines including AHP’s and nurses.
- Experience of undertaking service reviews and redesign.
- Experience of undertaking service reviews and redesign.
- Good financial awareness and ability to maximise use of resources.
- Experience of managing performance.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
