Job overview
This post is fixed term/secondment for 9 months to meet the needs of the service.
A new opportunity has arisen in the West Primary Care Team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) for a Cluster Support Officer to assist in the establishment and delivery of new and existing projects in Gwynedd and Anglesey.
The role will support the West Clusters and Professional Collaboratives in establishing and maintaining project reporting and governance.
The post holder will support with the collation of project reports and evaluation data, and lead on cluster and professional collaborative administration and governance documentation. In addition, the roles will be key to the successful rollout of Accelerated Cluster Development in Gwynedd and Anglesey.
This is an exciting opportunity and will suit a self-motivated project support officer or administration professional seeking to make a difference in the NHS.
Main duties of the job
Would you like to be involved in the delivery and management of primary care projects that make a real difference to the health and well-being of people in Gwynedd and Anglesey?
Working as part of the West Integrated Health Community, the post holder will provide assistance and support for projects that have been identified as priorities across Gwynedd and Anglesey.
The post holder will be required to support with planning, facilitating and monitoring the progress of projects, products, service improvements or change management initiatives, assisting with management support, training and guidance to colleagues in the Gwynedd and Anglesey bighshire Clusters and Professional Collaboratives (including Cluster Leads, GPs, Pharmacists, Optometrists and other primary care professionals).
The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring that accurate records are kept and that governance documents are up to date and adhered to. This includes meeting minutes, action logs and risk registers.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
Essential criteria
- HND in relevant subject (i.e. Administration, Projects) or equivalent qualification or experience.
- ECDL or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
- PRINCE2 foundation
- Change Management training

- Significant experience of working within a demanding / high intensity administrative setting.
- Experience of raising issues and risks.
- Able to use own initiative and judgement to analyse and resolve complex problems.
- Ability to deliver deadlines on a wide range of administrative / projects processes.

- Experience of proactively challenging staff and influencing them to change.
