Job overview
The Substance Misuse Service provides assessment and clinical treatment for individuals experiencing addiction with drugs and alcohol. We work with a range of people who present with complex and challenging needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
We are currently seeking Band 5 nurses to support clinical interventions. Job role will include the running of clinics to administer medication and holding your own caseload of service users, providing person centred care. It is essential that we ensure holistic care is provided in order to support those in service to reach their recovery goals. Service user’s often present with complex physical and mental health needs in addition to their substance misuse; care and treatment planning should reflect and address these needs. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic individual who will work in collaboration with service users, carer’s and third parties. There are great learning opportunities within the service to support professional development.
