Job overview
We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive team secretary to join the MH & LD admin team at the Bryn Hesketh unit. The candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main duties of the job
The role will be to provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administration duties.
This position requires someone who is a team player, flexible, organised and is able to work well under pressure. The successful candidate will need to be an experienced typist.
This position also requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet the demands of working in a busy environment and is able to represent the department with due professionalism.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
- GCSE Maths & English Grade C or above
- IT related qualification or equivalent experience
- NVQ Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent knowledge & experience, or willing to work towards

- Welsh Speaking

- Proficient in use of Microsoft applications.
- Ability to take and transcribe succinct minutes
- Excellent organisational skills
- Competently communicates professionally and effectively with all levels of staff both verbally and in writing
