Job overview
We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive team secretary to join the MH & LD admin team at Llys Dyfrig to support the SPoAA and admin team. The candidate will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main duties of the job
The role will be to provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administration duties as follows:
This position requires someone who is a team player, flexible, organised and is able to work well under pressure with the ability to use various data systems accurately.
You will work closely with administration team members and team Secretaries and provide cover when necessary.
Check multiple systems and receive referrals into team from various agencies.
Complete outcomes after SPoAA meeting each morning and distribute to relevant colleagues/agencies.
Take meeting minutes for regular weekly meetings within the healthcare team.
This position also requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet the demands of working in a busy environment and is able to represent the department with due professionalism.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
- NVQ Business Administration L3 or equivalent experience
- RSA /OCR level 2 or equivalent experience (must be a proficient user of Microsoft word)
- GCSE/O Level Maths & English Grade C or above
- IT qualification or equivalent experience

- NHS continuous employment
- Welsh Speaking
