We are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Officer, working within the business case team in the NHS England Commercial Governance, Policy & Improvement function. This is an exciting role, working within a dynamic, multi-disciplined team in a time of change.
The role of the Senior Commercial Officer will be to support lead will be to support the running and development of the business case process used by NHS England. You will be a core part of a team that runs and delivers a business-critical and essential function. You will have the opportunity to help shape the development of NHS England’s business case processes and system through supporting process development. We are looking for an experienced and capable individual, who ideally has experience of successfully supporting and developing workflow systems in a commercial context and of Commercial policy in the public sector. You will be working with and supporting colleagues across NHS England to maintain the highest standards whilst driving out inefficiencies and maximising value for money. You will have the chance to build networks across NHS England and deliver excellent value through strong stakeholder and customer support. The successful candidate will be experienced in delivering a reliable, effective stakeholder and customer service and will be someone that works well in a team and autonomously. |

Provide support to colleagues and stakeholders across NHS England on the business case process including advising on process and resolving queries. Supporting the development of NHS England’s business case policies and procedures and use of Atamis. Ensuring that the approvals for professional services business cases are managed appropriately and in a timely manner. Working with colleagues to deliver training across NHS England Ensuring the successful delivery of business case approvals in a timely manner through pro-active review and stakeholder engagement. Qualifications

- Educated to degree level or equivalent level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
Knowledge and Experience

- Experience in managing workflow systems including (but not limited to) finance platforms / procurement platforms / risk management systems
- Experienced in data analysis and reporting including data extraction, manipulation and evaluations
- Experience in preparation of papers/agendas/minute taking and providing effective secretariat support

- Demonstration of experience in successfully managing and influencing stakeholders at different levels
- Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences.
