Turnaround Programme Manager

Band 8b

Job overview

The post holder will be responsible for working across the Trust and across organisational boundaries to develop and implement complex, high value programmes in line with the Trust's appointed financial turnaround programme.

You will responsible for supporting teams from across the organisation to develop financial turnaround for each of the identified schemes of work.

You will be required to work with other Programme and Project Managers to ensure that interdependencies across all programme areas are considered and any actions are aligned, especially across organisational boundaries and with our partners.

The post holder will have robust knowledge of national policy and transformational change throughout the system which is delivering cost and quality savings.

You will be in a team of Trust experts on Transformation and Improvement.

 

Main duties of the job

Designing and facilitating workshops and activities to ensure engagement and clarity for those involved in the financial turnaround programme.

Identifying and scoping areas for cost savings or reductions and supporting the identified teams by recommending options and facilitating the process of solution.

Managing and facilitating improvement sessions collaboratively, in line with the Trust's values and vision.

Working with a variety of complex specialities to support the delivery of the financial turnaround programme.

Using a wide range of effective communication skills regarding highly sensitive change issues and overcoming barriers to acceptance.

Leading the development and implementation of financial turnaround practices across the Trust with clinical and non-clinical staff.

Ensuring there is effective governance of the schemes by taking responsibility for producing regular reports for the Operational Management Team, Executive Management Team and Board committees as required.

In conjunction with the Sponsor and key stakeholders (including external consultants) , develop a coherent robust plan which clearly states the case for change and identifies measurable benefits and full cost identification.

Develop credible programme plans in collaboration with others, identifying milestones, activities or products, timescales, resources and stages.
