This post attracts a 'Golden Hello' payment of £5,000* applicable to new applicants taking a substantive post. £2,500 will be payable after the first month of employment and £2,500 will be paid after six months** (subject to CDS policy conditions).

*paid on a pro rata basis as a percentage of the contracted hours for part time roles

**upon completion of successful probation period.

 

We are looking for an experienced Dental Nurse to support the mobile dental team in the provision of dental care to children, young people, and vulnerable adults with a priority for targeting the most deprived Lower Super Output Area’s (LSOA’s) in the SNEE ICB (Integrated Care Board) Suffolk boundary.

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibility will be to provide clinical support in a wide range of treatments for a for a broad client base and assisting the team with all other aspects of running an efficient service for our patients within the dental service.

Holding a Certificate in Topical Fluoride Application, in addition to an Oral Health Education Certificate, would be highly advantageous.

You will require initiative and strong interpersonal and communication skills to enjoy working with this specialist community and to ensure seamless care to patients. 

Excellent IT and organisational skills are also an advantage to these positions and candidates should be proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and should have competent keyboard skills, knowledge of a dental software package would be an advantage, though training will be given to the successful candidates.
