An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a 12 month secondment for an Administrator role within the within the ASR Divisional Administration Team at the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre.
The postholder will support the day to day processing of the Division's Subject Access Requests along with other administraiton duties supporting the team and Management team at West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre.
Full training and support will be provided. The post holder will be required to work weekdays and will need to be flexible with the working hours to ensure the office is covered during core office hours.
The successful candidates will need excellent communication and IT skills, work well as part of a team and have a flexible approach to work.
Main duties of the job
The Administrator post will work be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration support service including day to day administration of completing Subject Access Requests (SARs) received within the Division.

The West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre provides a range of services for people in the West Midlands to assist them in managing their disabilities. The Service is for people with physical, cognitive, emotional and social disabilities. All our services are provided by teams of clinical professionals and support staff who aim to provide integrated services in ways that best meet the needs of patients and their carers.

Qualifications / training
Essential criteria
- Evidence of continued learning and development
- Maths and English GCSE
Desirable criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in Administration
Experience
Essential criteria
- Relevant experience in an administrative support role
- Experience of using MS packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience of maintaining office systems, including filing, ordering and recording information
- Experience of co-ordinating diaries and arranging meetings
- Experience of providing meeting support, minutes, agenda’s etc.
Desirable criteria
- Experience working in the NHS or public sector
Skills/knowledge
Essential criteria
- Proven skill to create, populate and monitor databases/ spread sheets.
- Ability to take accurate minutes/notes.
- Ability to show attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal and ability to effectively communicate with a range of staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Audio dictation and transcribing skills
