Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC) gained Foundation Trust status in April 2016 and our Executive Office Manager provides the business support for the Chief Executive across a range of responsibilities for us to meet our statutory duties and ensure we are accountable to the communities we serve.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for an exciting opportunity that has arisen to join our team at Trust Headquarters Priestley Wharf in Birmingham. The post is an essential role which provides for a dynamic, flexible/agile working pattern and individuals with an existing comparable experience in the role or similar would be an added advantage. 

Main duties of the job

As Executive Office Manager, the post holder will provide clear leadership and direction for the Chief Executive’s office including line management responsibility for the Executive Assistants and be responsible for establishing, managing and running processes and structures that will ensure the smooth running of the Executive Office.
The post holder will be responsible for the smooth running of reception services provided to departments based at Trust Headquarters including line management of receptionists and provision of stationery supplies and postal services.
The post holder is required to be a highly experienced and organised individual with significant experience in diary management, minute taking at Board level and coordinating meetings.
The post holder would be based at our Trust Headquarters, within the Executive Office at Priestley Wharf in Birmingham.

  • Degree or NVQ equivalent or HND, professional qualification

Experience

  • Proven experience of working with very senior directors
  • Experience and knowledge of a Managing Director or Chief Executive Workload
  • Project management experience to include report writing
  • Experience of leading and managing a team
  • Experience of redirecting work and following up key actions
  • Experience of developing admin and office systems and functions
  • Experience of budget management
  • Proven experience of managing meetings, inc setting agendas, minute taking, preparation of reports and presentation
