We are opening an opportunity for a passionate mental health nurse that are excited to lead our Eating Disorder inpatient service. We are looking for mental health nurses who can provide leadership and mentoring, who will act as a positive role model for junior staff in a manner that positively reflects the philosophy of the service and the values of the organisation. You will be responsible for managing, directing and leading the nursing team with support and guidance from the Ward Manager.

We want to recruit a nurse who has a real understanding of the needs of Eating Disorder services, and who can bring innovation and change to our services. We see this service as a genuine specialism and are offering you the opportunity to be part of it. Main duties of the job

You must be a qualified RMN with adequate experience of leadership. It’s important that you have an understanding of multidisciplinary services and the challenges that face people with mental health problems. We want to recruit nurses that are passionate about mental health, who believe in our recovery model and who will act as advocates for our patients.

We work on a foundation of honesty and openness, and use our skills and experience to support our patients through their recovery journey(s) whilst working towards their safe discharge to the community.

In return, we will offer you a Leadership and Management Training, Mentorship training, regular management and clinical supervision, continuous professional development and a supportive team to nurture your skills and talent.

You will also be a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team working in collaboration with our service users, their families, and other professionals, internal and external multi-agencies.
